The museum library
After closing down the Department of Egyptology of the University of Amsterdam, the Allard Pierson Museum took over and maintained the library of this department. Most books originate from the former library of Egyptology. The most important journals are continued; apart from that, acquisitions on a modest scale are still possible. Offers for book exchange are welcome. The library holdings are accessible via the University Library online catalogue.
